Sean C. Currie
Sean Currie is a tenacious lawyer with significant experience in commercial litigation, business law, creditors’ rights, real estate and estate planning.
Sean Currie focuses on working efficiently, professionally and diligently for his clients, and he is committed to economically guiding his clients toward an amicable and satisfactory resolution to the legal challenges in their lives.
In 2008, Sean was admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington, along with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to joining the O’Donnell Law Firm LLC, he gained substantial experience in Spokane, Washington, practicing with various Portland-area firms, including Greene & Markley, P.C. and Warren Allen LLP.
As a native of Portland, Sean spends much of his free time seeking to improve the Portland community. He is closely involved with the Multnomah Bar Association Young Lawyers Section – as a committee member, committee co-chair, member of the Board of Directors and frequent volunteer. He regularly assists with the Debtor-Creditor Section of the Oregon State Bar, including planning and speaking at their annual meetings. Sean actively assisted the Litigation Section of the Oregon State Bar, the Gus J. Solomon Inn of Court, Oregon Women Lawyers, the Membership Committee for the Oregon New Lawyers Division, and the American Bar Association. Additionally, he has written and co-authored various articles on bankruptcy, collection strategies, and legislative developments.
Sean is passionate about serving the non-legal community. He has been an active member of the City Club of Portland and regularly volunteers at DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital, the Oregon Humane Society, and other worthy causes.
During his quiet moments, Sean enjoys traveling, reading and spending quality time with his fiancé and four-legged friends.
ABOUT THE ATTORNEY
Sean Currie earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and History, with a minor in Philosophy from Marquette University in 2005. He earned his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2008. While at Gonzaga, he concentrated his studies on business law, while serving as an associate editor for the Gonzaga Law Review, associate editor for the Gonzaga Journal of International Law, and as a law clerk with the firm of Winston & Cashatt, P.C. Sean currently is an attorney at O’Donnell Law Firm LLC in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
